Ronald T. Krietemeyer is Director of the Office for Social Justice for the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis. In this capacity Mr. Krietemeyer coordinates advocacy, organizing, and educational efforts that focus on economic and social justice for low-income constituencies. He advises and trains church leaders on the field of Catholic Social Teaching and social action. Mr. Krietemeyer was previously an instructor in social ethics at the College of Saint Thomas in St. Paul, and served on the National Conference of Catholic Bishops, assisting in the consultation, research, and drafting of the pastoral letter on the economy. He holds Masters degrees in Public Affairs from the Humphrey Institute of the University of Minnesota, and in Theology from St. John's University in Collegeville, Minnesota.
Evelyn Mattern, SFCC, is a member of the Sisters for Christian Community in Rolesville, North Carolina. Since 1996, Sr. Evelyn has been Program Associate for the North Carolina Council of Churches. Prior to this assignment, she taught English within the North Carolina Community College System, and served as a Minister for Peace and Justice for the Diocese of Raleigh, NC. Sr. Evelyn was instrumental in the formation of the diocesan office for Peace and Justice. Sr. Evelyn holds a Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania and is a Woodrow Wilson Fellow. She has taught in seminary D.Min. programs and is the author of several poems and articles as well as the book Blessed are You: The Beatitudes and Our Survival.
