Fr. Stephen Doyle, OFM was professed in the Order of Friars Minor in 1956 and educated within the Franciscan Seminary System of Holy Name Province. He received degrees in Theology and Semitic Languages from Catholic University and a Licentiate in Sacred Scripture from the Pontifical Biblical Institute in Rome. Fr. Stephen has taught Sacred Scripture and Biblical Preaching at St. John Vianney Seminary (East Aurora, NY), Christ the King Seminary (St. Bonaventure, NY) and Pope John XXIII Seminary (Weston, MA) as well as at St. Bonaventure University, St. Michael's College, and Emmanuel College. He has given workshops in Sacred Scripture and preaching throughout the Americas and abroad. He has conducted retreats for priests and religious, and has also served as assistant director of novices for the Franciscans. Fr. Stephen has appeared on radio and television and is the author of several books and articles, as well as a number of audio-cassette programs through Alba House Communications and others.
