"Wineskins" is a weekly half-hour radio program conceived and
produced by the Telecommunication Center of the Catholic Diocese of Youngstown
in conjunction with Alba House Communications of the Society of St. Paul. It airs
every Sunday over WKBN-AM 570 at 7:30 AM, and WRCW AM 1060 at 10:30 AM.
"Wineskins" first aired in 1981. "Wineskins" addresses real
issues in today's world and church while sharing faith and information. Its objective is
to strengthen the faith and to catch the attention of all listeners. It seeks
to accomplish these objectives by providing a blend of information, inspiration, opinion
and music assembled in a magazine format. "Wineskins" has won many awards
including the Gabriel and Proclaim awards.
